Back in the summer time (you remember what warm felt like, dontcha?), we got a chance to play at the grand re-opening of The Hive in Kennebunk and it was a great experience. Well, we’re back at it this coming Wednesday and we want to invite all the funkonauts out to make this a special night.
We’ll be playing lots of original music mixed with that funky soul music that you love as we play from 8 until 11. That includes some new stuff that you might not have heard along with old favorites. There might even be a special guest or two, you never know – so don’t miss out.
Music starts at 8pm and it’s only $8 at the door – a small price to pay for squatting rights on the dance floor! C’mon out and get down!
This Saturday, we’re happy to be helping to open a really cool gallery/performance space in Kennebunk called The Hive. Now, if that sounds a little familiar, it might be because they’ve been around for a bit and some other slick musicians and artists have been there. However, after a year closure to renovate, it’s about time to get this joint jumping again. Which is where we, and you, come in.
Saturday June 15th, The Hive will be open for business again starting at noon and running almost to midnight with various exhibits, workshops, and performances. It’s free, open to the public, and there’ll be food and beverages available. Starting at 5pm, you have Max Garcia Cornover, Exchange Street, Dark Follies, Arc of Sky (which is Trent Gay of Paranoid Social Club and Anna Lombard of ANNA and the Diggs), and then we hit the stage sometime after 9pm. It’s going to be a good time, so don’t miss it!
